When a family’s breadwinner is detained, the clock is ticking to find legal representation — and avoid being scammed. Solidarity Legal Fund (SLF) gives families with children prompt access to trusted lawyers, and their best chance to win their loved one’s release.
SLF is a partnership of the Montgomery County Immigrant Rights Collective (Moco IRC) and Prince George’s County Immigrant Rights Collective (PG IRC) and the Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Congregation. SLF is built on the proven family-led legal support model developed by MoCo IRC chapter Blair Unida.
Since February 2025, IRC volunteers have stood with nearly 500 detention-impacted families with children, helping them meet essential needs.
